Fedics, part of the Tsebo Solutions Group, is seeking a Cook in Durban: Pinetown to prepare meals, ensure food safety standards, and maintain high-quality culinary services. The role involves cooking a variety of meals, adhering to portion control, food presentation, hygiene, and safety standards while working collaboratively within a team. The ideal candidate should have proven cooking experience, excellent food preparation skills, and the ability to deliver quality meals efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks meats, fish, vegetables, gravies, cereals, soups, fruits, bakery products and other forms of food
• Prepares and cooks food for special diets from recipes formulated by qualified personnel
• Assists in on-the-job training and assist in directing the work of food service workers, students and other employees within area of assignment

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement Matric
• Proven cooking experience
• 2 year experience in a similar role
